Adding Flash animations into Frontpage 2000 tutorial Adding a custom-made Flash animation created with Mix-FX to Frontpage is a snap By following these simple steps, you will be up and running in no time at all and impressing all of your visitors with your talents! First create your Flash animations or buttons in Mix-FX. Make sure that you enter the correct URL per button in Mix-FX if required 1. Open Frontpage 2. Select the HTML page into which you want to insert the animation, or start from scratch and open a new page 3. Save the HTML file to your website directory 4. Click on the position where you want to insert the animation 5. Go to Insert - Advanced - and select Plug-in. In Frontpage 2002 you should select: Web Component - Advanced Controls - Plug-in 6. Now the Plug-In Properties window opens up. Here you should select your created animation. To do so click on the browse button 7. Now the Select file menu pops up. Select your web animation file from the li st, and click on OK 8. You will be brought back to the Plug-in Properties menu. Here you can edit the properties of your flash animation. In general you can use the default size 9. Finally save and preview your file. It's important that you save the file first before you click on preview, otherwise you will see nothing. 10. There you have it, a nice simple way to add a little extra pizzazz to your presentation


Adding Flash animations into Frontpage 2003 tutorial Flash Tutorial Frontpage 2003 How to embed a Flash file into Microsoft Frontpage 2003 Adding a custom-made Flash animation to Microsoft Frontpage 2003 is a snap. By following these simple steps, you will be up and running in no time at all and impressing all of your visitors with your talents! First create your Flash movie. Save The SWF file to your website directory preferable to the root or a sub directory of the website. 1. Open Frontpage 2. Select the HTML page into which you want to insert the animation, or start from scratch and open a new page. 3. Save the HTML file to your website directory 4. In Microsoft Frontpage 2003, Choose 'Insert | Picture | Movie in Flash Format' from the menu bar and select the file. It will look like this in the page: 5. Right click on the Flash file in the page, select to 'Play Movie in Flash Format', which will play it in design mode without switching views. 6. Right click on the Flash file and select 'Movie in Flash Format Properties' which will allow you to change the size, transparency, background colors and quality of the movie from the 'Appearance' tab. 7. The 'General' properties tab lets you specify whether the Flash movie can loop, auto play or to show menu on the file when it's viewed on the web. 8. Inserting a Flash animation into Namo WebEditor Inserting a Flash animation created with Mix-FX into Namo WebEditor is a Snap First create a Flash animation or Flash button with Mix-FX. Save the file to the directory that also contains the HTML file, that will contain the Mix-FX Flash animation. In Namo WebEditor, do the following" 1. Open your HTML document or create a new HTML document 2. Select the [Insert > Object > Flash...] menu command 3. In the Open dialog box, select the Flash file (*.swf) from your local drive or on the Web and click Open or Open URL 4. Now the ActiveX Control Properties dialog box will open up and the Class ID and Codebase are inserted automatically. Specify the Border, Size and spacing, and Alignment 5. If you need to specify some parameters, click Parameters... and specify relevant properties in the ActiveX Control Properties dialog box 6. Click OK 7. Now check what you have done by clicking on the Preview window
